With the increase in the popularity of mobile phones, consumers have desired to access financial services on their hand-held devices. The Guntur Cooperative Bank has been trying to meet this need by offering up-to-date services to its customers. As a part of it, the bank has introduced a Mobile banking application to provide greater convenience and ease. Bank is offering “Mobile banking” service to its customers to conduct financial transactions remotely using a mobile device such as a phone or tablet.

Mobile banking is available 24/7. Through these services, customers can access any of their accounts linked to their mobile number. Mobile banking depends on the availability of an internet or data connection on the mobile device. Transactions through mobile banking depend on the features of the GCUB Mobi app, which facilitates obtaining account balances, lists of the latest transactions, and funds transfers between accounts. The app also enables viewing the last ten transactions of the customer’s accounts. The bank is aiming to enhance the services extended through Mobile Banking in the future.
